The GospelFest Musical Showcase is an awe-inspring immersive experience that takes audiences on a journey through the history, grandeur, and cultural legacy of gospel music. Through song, spoken word, dance, and instruments, every moment of the evening has been intentionally crafted to move you — body, mind, and spirit.
What to Expect
This year’s festival highlights the grandeur of gospel music through storytelling, song, and sacred traditions rooted in the Black church — including the many art forms it has influenced. Celebrating the intersection of gospel music with classical music, orchestra, Black Dandyism, jazz, and other artistic expressions, GospelFest 2026 tells the awe-inspiring story of a people who not only endured, but excelled.
Come Dressed for the Occasion
Guests are encouraged to come dressed in their Sunday best as we honor the grandeur of gospel music and the community that built it.
Event Details
Doors open at the Maclab Theatre at 6:45 PM. The Musical Showcase begins at 7:00 PM and runs until 9:30 PM. Tickets are required for entry.
